A surgeon went to check on his very famous patient after an operation. She was awake， so he examined her. "You won't be here long，" he said.

She asked how long will it be before "I am able to have a normal sex life again， Doctor?"

The surgeon seemed to pause,which alarmed the girl."What's the matter, Doctor? I will be alright， won't I?"

He replied,"Yes,you'll be fine Miss Monroe.It's just that no one has ever asked me that after haing their tonsils out."



의사는 수술을 받은 아주 유명한 환자를 진찰하러 갔다. 여자가 깨어 있었으므로 그는 진찰을 했다. "곧 퇴원하시게 될 겁니다"라고 그는 말했다.

그러자 환자가 물었다. "언제쯤부터 다시 정상적인 성생활을 하게 되는 거죠?"

의사는 말문이 막히는 것 같았다. 그러자 환자는 덜컥 겁이 났다. "왜 그러시죠？ 수술이 잘 된 거 아닌가요？"

"수술은 잘 됐습니다， 먼로양. 다만 편도선 수술을 받은 환자로부터 그런 질문을 받아보기는 처음이라서요"라고 의사는 말했다.
