George : "Can you imagine what will happen when all the Wall
Street savings and loan executives go to jail?"

Ted : "Do you wean to say that there won''t be the poot people
who will be swindled out of their life savings?"

George : "No, not that. There will be many prisons to be merged
and some will go private. And there sure will be a couple
of jails that will buy an airline."

커다란 사회적 물의를 빚었다.
<> swindle : 속여서 (돈을) 빼앗다, 사취하다

<> merge : 합병하다 (특히 미국에서 유행한 기업합병을 빈정댄 것)
<> go private : 민영화되다

감옥으로 가는 날에는 어떤 일이 벌어질 건지 어디 짐작 가나?"

테드 : "평생 저축한 돈을 몽땅 털리는 불쌍한 사람들을 보지 않게
될거란 소리를 하려는 건가?"

조지 : "아니. 그런게 아니야. 합병을 하게 되는 형무소들이 많을 것이고
더러는 민영화될 거란 말이야. 그리고 두어 군데는 틀림없이
항공사를 사들이게 될 거고 말야"
