The temperance lecture''s voice rose to a pitch.

"Who is the richest man in town? Who has the biggest house?...the saloon keeper! Who has the finest clothes?...the saloon keeper! And who pays for all this?...You do, my friend. You do!"

A few days later, a man who had been in the audience met the lecturer on the street and congratulated her on the rousing speech.

"So you''ve given up drinking?" the lecturer said.

"No, I''ve bought a saloon."

한데 그 돈이 모두 어디서 나옵니까? 여러분한테서 나옵니다"

며칠후 그 강연을 들었던 어떤 사람이 그 연사와 마주치자 감동적인 강연을 잘 들었노라고 치하했다.

"그래 술을 끊으셨군요"라고 연사가 물었다.

"아닙니다.

술집을 차렸습죠"
