She was writing to her son, congratulating on his engagement.

"My darling boy, we greatly rejoice in your engagement.

A good woman is Heaven''s most precious gift to man. She brings out all
the best in him and helps him to suppress all that is evil."

Then, there was a postscript in a different handwriting : "Your mother
has gone out for an envelope. Keep single, you young fool!"

어머니는 아들의 약혼을 축하하는 편지를 썼다.

노출되게 하며 좋지 않는 것은 억제해 준단다"

편지는 여기서 필적이 다른 추신으로 이어졌다.

"네 어미 봉투 가지러 갔다. 이런 바보자식, 독신으로 지내, 독신으로!"
