[해외유머] '돌고 도는 것'

In a small town, the preacher wanted to build a new church.

One day the clergyman called the leading townsmen to discuss fund
raising.

In the middle of the meeting the bawdy house madam entered the room.

"Preacher, here''s $10,000 to help buil your church," she said.

"Oh, no!" said the man of God."

"We can''t take your money. It''s tainted."

One of the citizens shouted, "Go ahead, take it, Reverend. It''s not
her money - - it''s ours!"

어느 작은 고장의 목사가 교회를 새로 세우려고 했다.

모금 문제를 의논하기 위해 하루는 그 곳 유지들을 불렀다.

회의가 한창 진행되고 있는데 유곽여주인이 나타났다.

"목사님 이거 1만달러입니다. 교회짓는데 보태쓰세요"

"아니 이건 안돼요. 그렇게 더러운 돈을 받을 수 없어요"라며 거절했다.

그러자 그 자리에 나왔던 주민 한 사람이 큰 소리로 참견했다.

"거 받아두세요 목사님. 그건 그 여자 돈이 아니라 우리들의 돈입니다"
