[해외유머] '대학총장의 거취'

The university president, who had just resigned, met with his
successor, and handed him three letters numbered one through three.

"When you have a crisis," he advised, "open letter number one."

A few months later, a crisis arose.

The president opened the first letter.

It read: "Blame predecessor."

He did-and he survived the crisis.

A few months later a new crisis arrived and the presient opened
the second letter.

It read: "Blame the alumni association."

He did-and survived yet another crisis.

Not long after that another crisis raised its head and the president
opened the third letter.

It read: "Prepate three letters."

막 사임한 대학총장이 후임자를 만나 1번에서 3번까지 번호를 매긴
편지 세통을 건네줬다.

"어려운 상황을 맞으면 1번을 꺼내보세요"라고 그는 충고했다.

몇개월이 지나서 어려운 일이 생겼다.

총장은 1번편지를 꺼냈다.

"전임자를 탓하시오"라고 씌어있었다.

그렇게 해서 위기를 넘겼다.

몇달후 또 다시 위기를 맞아 2번편기를 꺼내보니 "동창회를 탓하라"는
것이다.

그렇게 해서 다시 위기를 넘겼다.

얼마후 또 위기가 나타나자 세번째 편지를 개봉했다.

"세통의 편지를 작성하시오"
