[해외유머] '빨간구두 아가씨'

The Warricks brought their daughter, aged eight, to New York to do
some shopping.

They bought the little girl a pair of red shoes which she insisted on
wearing.

On their way out of the department store, going down in the elevator,
a rather large woman in front of them suddenly salpped the face of the
man standing next to her.

There was quite an uproar.

The Warricks hurried away to catch their train.

"I didn''t like that gat woman," said the little girl.

"Why not?" asked the mother.

"She stepped on my new shoes," answered the child,

"so I gave ger bottom a good pinch."

워릭네는 여덟살짜리 딸을 데리고 뉴욕으로 쇼핑하러 갔다.

꼬마아가씨에게 빨간구두를 사줬더니 기어이 우겨가지고 그 자리에서
갈아 신었다.

백화점에서 나올때 엘리베에터에서는 덩치 큰 여자가 그들 앞에 서 있었다.

그런데 그 여자는 별안간 옆에 서 있는 남자의 얼굴을 후려갈겼다.

그래서 큰 소동이 벌어졌다.

워릭네는 기차를 타야 하기 때문에 바삐 움직였다.

"나 그 뚱보아줌마가 미워"라고 딸아이가 말했다.

"어째서?" 하고 엄마가 물었다.

"내 새 구두를 밟았단 말야.

그래서 내가 엉덩이를 힘껏 꼬집어줬어"
