[해외유머] '막일꾼'

The normally even-tempered husband sometimes became agitated when
doing handyman jobs around the house.

One afternoon he completed an especially difficult job of installing
and venting a stove hood.

The next day his son was inspercting the hood and noticed that it
vented into the attic.

"Why didn''t you finish the job and run the vent pipe on up through
the roof?" he asked.

"I would have," his father answered, "but I ran out of cuss words."

평소엔 침착한 남편이 간혹 집안 잔일을 할때면 짜증을 냈다.

어느날 오후 그는 스토브의 후드를 설치하여 환기통으로 연결하는
유달리 힘든 일을 끝냈다.

이튿날 그 후드를 살펴보던 아들은 환기통이 다락으로 연결되어 있음을
눈여겨 봤다.

"환기통이 지붕을 뚫고 나가게 해서 일을 제대로 마무리 지었어야죠"
하고 아들은 한마디 했다.

"그렇게 했을터인데 욕지거리가 더이상 나오지 않더란 말이다"

아버지가 대답했다.
