A scientist invented a salve that could bring inanimate objects to life,and decided to try it on the stature of a great general.

Sure enough,the general,creaking a bit in the joints,climbed down from his pedestal.

"I have given you back your life!" exulted the scientist.

"Tell me,what's the first thing you're going to do?"

"I'm going to shoot down about two million pigeons!" said the general,taking his gun from his holster.
