[해외유머] '마가복음 17장'

A minister told his congregation that the following Sunday he
would preach on lying.

He asked them to read, in the meantime, the 17th chapter of the
Gospel of St. Mark.

The next Sunday he asked how many had done the reading.

A number of hands went up.

"I see," said the pastor, "you are the very people Jesus Christ
wishes to save.

There''s no 17th chapter in St. Mark''s Gospel."

목사는 그의 교회신도들에게 다음 주일에는 거짓말을 주제로
설교하겠다고 했다.

그러면서 그동안에 마가복음 17장을 읽어오라고 했다.

다음 일요일, 목사는 신도들을 보고 몇 사람이 그 대목을 읽어 왔느냐고
물었다.

그러자 여러 사람이 손을 치켜들었다.

"알았어요. 여러분들이야 말로 예수께서 구원하시려는 사람들입니다.
마가복음에는 17장이 없습니다"
