Receive the answer, "Zero," and your first reaction is "Nonsense!

But stop for a moment.

The figure eight is composed of two small zeros piled on top of one another.

If a line were drawn down the middle of an eight, you would have two three standing face to face.

By seeing things differently, we can make all kinds of descoveries, bringing into being something which didn''t exist before.

누군가에게 "8의 반은?"하고 묻는다.

"영(0)"이라는 답이 나온다면 당장 "난센스!"라고 할 것이다.

그러나 좀 생각해보자.

숫자 ''8''은 작은 ''0''둘을 붙여놓은 것이다.

8을 가운데서 양분하면 서로 마주보는 ''3''둘이 나타난다.

사물을 보는 시각을 바꿈으로써 온갖 발견을 하게되며 전에 없었던 것을 탄생시키게 되는 것이다.
