[해외유머] '중혼죄'

A man who had married three wives was brought befort the king
for puni-shment.

The king called in his counsellors and asked them to devise
the worst possible punishment for the offen-der, even death
itself.

But they did not order his execution ruling it would be still
worse for him to live with all three wives at the same time.

Two weeks later, the man committed suicide.

세 여자와 결혼한 사내가 벌을 받기위해 임금 앞으로 끌려나왔다.

중신들을 불러들인 임금은 사형까지를 포함하여 그 사내에게 내릴 가장
혹독한 벌을 생각해 내라고 분부했다.

그런데 중신들은 세 아내와 동시에 사는 것이 사형보다도 더한 처벌이
될것으로 결정하고 사형에 처하지는 않았다.

2주후 사내는 자살했다.
