[해외유머] '아파트의 이웃'

The newly married couple had rented an apatrment and were hanging
pictures.

He was driving a nail in the living room wall when there was a knock
at the door.

"It''s Mr. Baker from next door," said his wife.

"Your hammering must have bothered him."

Her husband started to apologize, but the neighbor cut him short.

"Oh, I don''t mind the noise," he said.

"I only came to ask a favor. Do you mind if I hang a picture on the
other end of that nail?"

아파트에 세든 신혼부부가 그림들을 벽에 걸고 있었다.

남자가 거실벽에 못을 박고 있는데 노크소리가 들렸다.

"옆집 베이커씨예요. 당신이 망치질하는 소리가 시끄러운가봐요"라고
아내가 말했다.

남편이 미안하다고 사과하기 시작하자 그 사람은 남편의 말을 제지하고
나섰다.

"시끄러울 것 없어요. 난 청이 있어서 왔습니다. 못 끝이 우리집 쪽으로
나왔는데 거기다가 그림을 걸어도 되겠나 해서요"
