[해외유머] '해와 달'

Ron and Sam were talking one day about the sun and the moon, and
disputing as to which of the two was the more useful.

At last one of them said, "Well, I think I know

The moon is quite worth two suns: because it shines at night when it
is needed; but the sun shines in the daytime when nobody wants it."

론과 샘은 어느날 해와 달에 관해 이야기하면서 이들 둘 가운데 어느쪽이
더 필요한가를 놓고 논쟁을 벌였다.

마침내 그중 한 사람이 말했다.

"난 알것 같아. 달은 해 두개만큼이나 가치가 있는거야. 왠고하니 달은
우리가 필요로 하는 밤에 비춰주지 않는가 말이야.

그런데 해는 어떠한가. 아무도 원하지 않는 대낮게 반짝이거든"
