Three engineering students were gathered together discussing the possible designers of the human body.

One said， "It was a mechanical engineer. Just look at all the joints."

Another said， "No， it was an electrical engineer. The nervous system has many thousands of electrical connections."

The last said， "Actually it was a civil engineer. Who else would run a toxicwaste pipeline through a recreational area？"


공학을 공부하는 학생 셋이 어울려 이야기를 나누었는데 그들의 화제는 인체를 설계한 게 누구였겠나 하는 것이었다.

"기계공학을 한 사람이었을 거야.여기저기 뼈마디들을 마련해 놓은 걸 보면 알 수 있잖아." 한 학생이 말했다.

"아니야.전기공학을 한 사람이었어.신경계통이 몇 천，몇 만개의 전류로 연결돼 있는 걸 보면 알 수 있잖아." 다른 학생의 말이었다.

그러자 또 다른 학생이 말했다. "실은 그건 토목공학을 한 사람이었어.그가 아니라면 다른 누가 독성오물이 유원지를 통과하게 배관설계를 했겠냐고？"
