A man was just coming out of anesthesia after a surgical operation， and his wife was sitting at his bedside.

His eyes fluttered open， and he murmured， "You're so beautiful." Flattered， the wife continued her vigil while he drifted back to sleep.

Later her husband woke up and said， "You're cute." Startled， she asked him， "What happened to 'so beautiful'？" "Guess the drugs are wearing off，" he replied.


외과 수술을 받은 남자가 막 마취에서 깨어났는데 아내가 곁에서 자리를 지키고 있었다.

눈시울이 실룩거리더니 남편은 눈을 뜨고 한마디 했다. "당신 참 아름답군！" 아내는 아주 기분이 좋아져서 남편이 다시 잠드는 동안 옆에 있었다.

한참 뒤에 잠에서 깨어난 남편이 말했다. "당신 귀엽군."

뜻밖의 소리에 놀란 아내는 "아깐 '참 아름답다'더니 어찌 된 일이에요？"하고 물었다. "약 기운이 떨어지고 있나봐"라고 남편은 대답했다.
