The American Air Force Reserve Personnel Center in Denver notified reservists who were recalled to active duty due to Iraqi war.

It had difficulty locating one female reservist, but finally obtained a phone number.

A female sergeant put the call through and asked for the woman by name and explained that she was being reactivated.

Telling her she would need to report to her duty station, the sergeant asked， "Do you understand?"

There was a long pause at the other end of the line.

"Honey， you just made my day，" she said. "I'm 85 years old and raring to go!"

근무지로 출두하라는 말을 하고 "알겠어요?"하고 물었다. 그쪽에선 한참 아무 말이 없다가 대답하는 것이었다. "기차게 신나는 소식이군.내가 지금 여든다섯 살인데 정말이지 가고 싶거든!"
