Two marines boarded a shuttle flight.

One sat in the window seat，the other sat in the middle seat. Just before take-off，an army soldier got on and took the aisle seat next to the marines.

The soldier kicked off his shoes when the marine in the window seat said, "I think I'll go get a coke." "No problem，"said the soldier,"I'll get it for you." While he was gone,the marine picked up the soldier's shoe and spit in it.

When the soldier returned with the coke,the marine in the middle seat said，"I think I'll have one too." Again,the soldier went to get it and while he was gone，the marine picked up the soldier's other shoe and spit in it.

As the plane was landing，the soldier slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened. "How long must this go on?"the soldier deplored."This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in shoes and peeing in cokes？"


해병 둘이 셔틀기에 탔다.

한 사람은 창가에 또 한 사람은 가운데 좌석에 앉았다.

이륙 직전 육군병사가 타더니 해병들 옆 통로 좌석에 앉았다.

그는 발길질로 신발을 벗어던졌다.

그때 창가쪽 해병이 "나 가서 콜라 가져올 거야"라고 했다.

"알았어. 내가 갖다 줄게"라고 병사는 말했다.

그가 가자 해병은 병사의 신발 하나를 집어 들고 그 속에 침을 뱉었다.

그가 돌아오자 다른 해병이 "나도 콜라 마셔야겠어"라고 했다.

병사는 다시 콜라를 가지러 갔다.

그가 가자 해병은 그의 다른 쪽 신발을 집어 들고 그 속에 침을 뱉었다.

비행기가 착륙하자 구두를 신으면서 무슨 일이 있었는지 대번에 알아차린 병사가 한탄했다.

"언제까지 이래야 하는 거지? 이런 증오심，적개심，신발에 침을 뱉고 콜라에 오줌을 타주는 이런 짓을 언제까지 해야 하느냐 말이야?"
