[해외유머] '증거물'

A father came home from a long business trip to find his son riding
a new 10 speed bike.

"Where did you get the money for that bike? It must have cost $300."

"Easy, Dad," the boy replied.

"I earned it hiking."

"Come on," the father said.

"Tell me the truth."

"That is the truth," the boy said.

"Every night you were gone, Mr.Baker from the grocery store would come
over to see Mom. He''d give me a $20 bill and tell me to take a hike."

아버지가 장기출장을 끝내고 돌아와보니 아들녀석이 10단기어의 새 자전거를
타고 있었다.

"돈이 어디서 나서 그 자전거 샀어? 3백달러는 줬을텐데"

"쉽게 장만했어 아빠. 나 하이킹을 해서 돈을 벌었단 말이야"

"그러지 말고 사실대로 말해봐"

"정말이라니까. 아빠가 없는 동안 매일밤 식료품가게 베이커 아저씨가
엄마를 찾아왔었어. 나한테 20달러를 주면서 하이킹을 하고 오라지 뭐야"
