[해외유머] '고해성사 <상>'

Father Alvin called his friend, Rabbi Wilde, and told him,
"Rabbi, I desperately need your help.

I''m scheduled to hear confessions today, but I have to leave in
the middle of the afternoon to perform a wedding.

Will you please help me out by hearing confessions for me?"

The rabbi protested that he had no idea what hearing confessions
involved.

But finally the priest persuaded him to come, telling him he
could listen in on a few confessions to get the hang of it.

앨빈신부는 친한 사이인 라비에게 전화를 걸었다.

"꼭 당신의 도움을 받아아겠어요. 오늘 고해성사를 듣기로 예정되어
있으나 오후 반나절동안 혼례미사가 있거든요. 제발 고해성사를 나대신
들어주셨으면 해요"

라비는 고해성사를 듣는다는 것이 어떻게 하는 일인지 전혀 모른다면서
못하겠다고 했다.

그러나 신부는 몇사람의 고해성사를 엿듣고나면 요령을 얻을수 있다고
해서 마침내 라비로 하여금 와주도록 설득하는데 성공했다.
