Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, ten men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one has to drop off, otherwise they are all going to fall. They were not able to choose that person, but then the woman made a very

touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because as woman she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids, and for men in general, without ever getting anything in return. As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping their hands.

남자 열 여자 하나, 이렇게 11명이 헬리콥터 아래 로프에 매달려 있었다. 그런데 로프가 11명을 지탱하기엔 약해 누군가 한 사람이 떨어져 나가야지 그렇지 않으면 11명 모두가 떨어질 판이었다. 그렇다면 누가 떨어져야 하는가가 문제였는데 여자가 감동적인 이야기를 하는 것이었다. 이렇다할 보람 없이 남편과 아이들을 위해, 그리고 남자들을 위해 모든 걸 희생하면서 살아온 여자 신세니 자기가 자진해 로프에서 손을 떼겠다고 말한 것이었다.

여자의 이야기가 끝나자 사내들은 모두 박수를 쳤다.
