On his first day of first grade，George raised his hand as soon as the teacher came into the room and said，"I don't belong here，should be in third！"

The teacher looked at George's records and told him to take his seat.In five minutes，George stood up again and said， "I say I don't belong here！" At that moment the principal happened to come along and the teacher explained George's problem.The principal told George that if he could answer some questions they could decide in which grade he belonged.He soon discovered that George knew all the state capitals and country capitals that the principal could think of.The teacher suggested they try some biology questions…."What does a cow have 4 of but a woman only 2？" asked the teacher. "Legs！" George immediately replied. "What does a man have in his pants that a woman doesn't?" "Pockets！" said George. The principal siad，"Maybe he should be in third grade，I missed those last two questions！"


1학년에 입학해서 첫 등교를 한 조지는 선생님이 교실에 들어서자 손을 들더니 "난 여기가 아니라 3학년으로 가야 합니다"라고 했다.

조지의 기록을 살펴본 선생님은 그를 보고 자리에 앉으라고 했다. 5분이 지나자 조지는 다시 일어나 "내 반은 여기가 아니라니깐요"라고 했는데 때마침 교장이 지나는 길이었기에 선생님은 조지 문제를 이야기했다. 교장은 몇 가지 문제를 줄 테니 대답하는 걸 들어보고 어느 학년으로 갈 건지 결정하라고 했다. 그런데 조지는 교장이 생각나는 대로 질문하는 주의 수도와 각국의 수도를 척척 알아맞히는 것이 아닌가. 그래서 선생님은 생물학 문제를 내보자고 했다. .."암소에겐 넷이 있는데 여자에겐 둘뿐인 것은？" "다리요！"라고 조지는 대번에 대답했다. "남자의 바지 속엔 여자에게 없는 무엇이 있지？" "호주머니요！" "3학년으로 보내야 할 것 같네요. 마지막 두 문제는 나도 못 맞혔거든！" 교장의 말이었다.
