The man was driving his car following a long line of tractor-trailers when a police officer pulled him over for speeding．

Astounded that he alone was caught, he asked, "Out of all these trucks that were going just as fast as I was, why did you pull me over？"

"Have you ever gone fishing？"the officer asked．

"Yes," the man replied．

"Well, have you ever caught all the fish in the pond？"


긴 화물차 대열을 뒤 따라 가던 자동차 운전자가 과속으로 경찰에 걸려들었다．

그 짐차들 모두가 과속운전을 했는데 유독 그만이 걸려든 사실이 어이가 없어서 그는 “저 화물차들이 모두 나와 같은 속도로 주행하고 있었는데 나 한 사람만 잡는 이유가 뭡니까？”하고 따졌다．

"낚시 해 본 적 있어요？"하고 경찰관은 물었다．

"있죠"하고 그 사람은 대답했다．

"그래 호수에 있는 물고기를 죄다 잡은 적이 있었던가요？"
