A husband， proving to his wife that women talk more than men， showed her a study which indicated that men use (on the average) only 15，000 words a day， whereas women use 30，000 words a day．
She thought about this for a while and then told him that women use twice as many words as men because they have to repeat everything they say．

남편은 여자들이 말이 많다는 증거를 아내에게 제시하기 위해 평균적으로 남자는 하루에 15,000 단어만을 사용하는데 반해 여자는 하루에 30,000 단어를 사용한다는 조사결과를 보여줬다．

아내는 잠시 생각하더니 여자들은 (한 번 말해서 되는 일이 없으니) 매번 같은 말을 되풀이해야 하기 때문에 그런 게 아니냐고 하는 것이었다．
