As my passion heated up my wife said,

"I don't feel like it….

You're not in touch with my emotional needs enough for me to satisfy your physical needs….

Can't you love me for who I am and not for what I do in the bedroom?"

The very next day I took her to a big department store.

She tried on several expensive outfits,but couldn't decide which one to take.

So I told her we'd buy them all.

She was quite excited and said,"let's go to the cashier."

"No,I don't feel like it….

You're just not in touch with my financial needs enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs….

Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

이튿날 난 아내를 큰 백화점으로 데리고 갔다.

이것저것 입어보더니 어느 것으로 할 것인지 결정을 하지 못하는 것이다.

그래서 난 다 사라고 했다.

그랬더니 아내가 아주 들떠서 "가서 계산합시다"라고 하기에 내가 말했다.

"나 그럴 생각 없어요….

당신이 내 주머니 사정을 제대로 알아주지 않으니 당신 쇼핑욕구를 충족시킬 수가 없네요….

왜 내가 사주는 것들 때문이 아니라 있는 그대로의 나를 사랑하면 안 되는 거요?"
