A gentleman,celebrating the birthday of his mother-in-law,bought her a large plot in an expensive cemetery.On her next birthday,however,he bought her nothing.She was quick to comment loud and long on his thoughtlessness.The gentleman said only one thing - "Well,you haven't used the gift I gave you last year."


장모의 생일을 축하하면서 그 사람은 고급 묘지에 널찍하게 한 자리를 마련해 드렸다.

그런데 다음 생일에는 아무 선물도 하지 않았다.

장모는 대뜸 그가 무심한 놈이라고 언성을 높여 한참 나무랬다.

사위는 여러 말 않고 그저 "그런데,작년에 드린 선물은 여태 사용하지도 않으셨잖아요"라고 대꾸했다.
