The politician was in hotel for an afternoon tryst with his secretary.

Looking around the room nervously he said, "I have the feeling the
room is bugged."

He started looking under everything.

Finally, he lifted the rug, pointed to a round metal plate in the
floor, and said, "Aha, I''m right."

He used a pen knife to unscrew the metal plate, which he tossed out
the window.

Then he climbed into bed for a hot session.

They were going at it again when somebody banged on the door and
said, "This is the police."

When the man opened the door, the officer said, "We have to find out
why the couple in the room below were crushed to death by the
chandelier."

오후 한때를 비서와 함께 즐기려고 그 정치인은 호텔에 들었다.

신경이 곤두서서 방안을 두리번거리던 그는 "도청장치가 된 것같다"고

그리고는 샅샅이 뒤졌다.

마침내 방바닥의 양탄자를 걷어올린 그는 둥근 금속판을 가리키며 "그럼
그렇지"라며 칼로 그것을 뽑아내어 창밖으로 집어던졌다.

그리고는 잠자리로 들어가 화끈하게 한탕치렀다.

또 한차례 일을 벌렸을 때 누군가가 노크하더니 "경찰이오"라는 것이었다.

문을 열어주니 경관은 "아랫방 샹들리에가 떨어지는 바람에 남녀 한쌍이
죽었기에 원인을 조사해야겠어요"라고 했다.
