[해외유머] '부자와 모녀'

A mother and a daughter were in the kitchen washing dishes while
the son and father sat in the living room reading.

Suddenly there was the sound of dishes crashing and breaking on the
floor.

There was silence.

"It was Mom," said the son finally.

"How do you know?" asked his father.

"Because she isn''t saying anything."

모녀는 부엌에서 설거지를 하고 있었고 아버지와 아들은 거실에서 뭔가를
일고 있었다.

갑자기 접시들이 와지끈 떨어지면서 부엌바닥에서 부서지는 소리가 났다.

"어머니가 떨어뜨렸네요"라고 한참만에 아들이 말했다.

"그걸 어떻게 알아?"하고 아버지가 물었다.

"어머니가 아무 말도 안 하시잖아요."
