[해외유머] '애국심'

The teacher was lamenting what he saw as ever declining patriotic
spirit.

So he was very anxious to do whatever he could to enhance patriotic
sense among his students.

One day he asked one of the students that he would think if he saw the
national flag flying over a battlefield.

"I should think," replied the boy, "that the wind is blowing."

선생님은 애국정신이 갈수록 위축돼가고 있다는 생각으로 한탄하고 있었다.

그래서 그는 학생들의 애국심을 키우기위해 자신이 할 수 있는 바를
해보려고 열을 올리고 있었다.

하루는 학생 하나를 보고 싸움터에서 국기가 나부끼는 것을 보면 무엇을
생각하겠는가고 물었다.

"바람이 불고있구나 하고 생각해야겠지요"라고 녀석은 대답했다.
