[해외유머] '사막의 술집'

A man was standed in the desert without water.

As he was crawling across the burning sands, he met a salesman who
attempted to sell him a necktie.

"I''m dying of thirst, and you want to sell me a necktie?" said the man
in anger.

The salesman continued his way.

That evening, the traveler couldn''t believe his eyes when the saw
in the middle of the barren waste, neon lights of a cocktail lounge
and a parking lot filled with cars.

He crawled to the door.

But the doorman stopped him, "No one''s admitted without a tie."

어떤 사람이 물없이 사막길에 나섰다가 낭패를 당하게 되었다.

뜨거운 모래 위를 기어가던 그가 만난 것은 세일즈맨.

그는 넥타이를 팔려고 했다.

"목말라 죽어가는 사람에게 넥타이를 팔겠단 말이오?"라며 그는 화를 냈다.

세일즈맨은 가던 길을 계속 갔다.

그날 저녁 그 메마른 황무지 한복판에서 칵테일 라운지의 네온사인, 차들이
꽉 찬 주차장을 발견한 그는 자신의 눈을 의심했다.

그 술집 문가로 기어갔으나 문지기는 "넥타이를 안 맨 사람은 아무도 못
들어갑니다"라며 그를 제지하는 것이었다.
