The ambassador of a developed country visited the president of a developing country.In the waiting room he talked with two of the ministers for five minutes.When he entered he said to the President，"I really don't want to bother you but I talked with two of your ministers，and my gold watch was disappeared."

So the President answered，"OK.I'll take care of it，" left the room and came back two minutes later with the watch.

The ambassador said，"Thank you very much.I really hope that I didn't cause any crisis between you and them."

"That's OK，" said the President. "They did not notice."


한 개발도상국에 주재하는 선진국 대사가 그 나라 대통령을 만나러 가서 기다리는 동안 그 나라 장관 두 사람과 5분간 이야기를 나눴다. 대통령을 만나는 자리에 들어간 대사는 "이런 이야기는 정말 하고 싶지 않습니다만 장관 두 분과 이야기를 나누다가 들어왔는데 그 사이에 저의 금시계가 없어졌습니다. "

그러자 대통령이 "알았어요. 내가 찾아드리리다"라고 대답하면서 밖으로 나가더니 2분 후 시계를 가지고 돌아왔다.

"이거 정말 고맙습니다. 이 일로 해서 여러분이 서로 언짢아하는 일이 없었으면 하는 간절한 심정입니다. " 대사가 말했다.

"문제될 것 없습니다. 저들은 눈치채지도 못했을 텐데요 뭐."
