An elderly woman entered the Kremlin and insisted on seeing the General Secretary of the Communist Party.


Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to meet her and asked, "What can I do for you?"


"I have one question," she said.


"Was communism invented by a politician or a scientist?"


"A politician," he said.


"That explains it," the woman replied.


"A scientist would have tried it on mice first."



어떤 할머니가 크렘린에 와서는 공산당 서기장을 만나야겠다고 우겨댔다.


그 노인을 만나보기로 한 미하일 고르바초프는 "무슨 일로 오셨습니까？" 하고 물었다.


"한 가지 궁금한 게 있어요. 공산주의는 누가 발명한 거죠--정치가인가요 아니면 과학자인가요？"


"정치가입니다"라고 그는 대답했다.


"그럼 그렇지. 과학자라면 우선 쥐를 가지고 실험을 해봤을 거라구요"라고 할머니는 말했다.
