A professor was about to get married.
He went to the jeweler''s to get a wedding ring for his fiancee.The jeweler told him that he can have the inside of the ring engraved with the name of his fiancee for an additional $20.
"But that will reduce the resale value!" he said.
"You are stingy, aren''t you?""No, I''m not," replied the professor.
"I''m an economist."

교수가 장가가게 되었다.약혼자에게 줄 결혼반지를 사러 그는 보석상에 갔다.
보석상 주인은 20달러를 더 내면 약혼자의 이름을 반지 안쪽에 새겨준다고 했다.
"하지만 그래 놓으면 다시 팔 때 제 값 못 받게 되는 것 아닙니까!"라고 교수는 말했다."인색하시군요"
"아닙니다. 나는 경제학자입니다"라고 교수는 대답했다.
