A school teacher injured his back and had to wear plaster cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable. On the first day of the term， he found himself assigned to the toughest students in school. Soon the classroom became a bit unruly and he admonished them. This happened several times when the strong breeze from the open window made his tie flap annoyingly. So he took a big stapler off his desk and stapled the tie to his chest which is covered by the plaster cast. Discipline was not a problem from that day forth.


학교 교사가 허리를 다쳐 상체를 감싸는 깁스를 했다. 깁스는 셔츠에 가려 겉으로 나타나지 않았다. 학기 초에 그가 배치된 건 말썽꾸러기가 많은 학급이었다. 수업이 시작되자 곧 교실이 문란해지는 바람에 선생은 야단을 쳐야 했다. 그런 일이 몇 번인가 거듭됐을 때 열린 창문으로 바람이 세게 불어오면서 선생의 넥타이가 성가시게 펄럭였다. 그러자 그는 책상 위의 큼직한 스테이플러를 집어 들어 깁스를 한 가슴팍에 넥타이를 고정시켰다. 그날 이후 이 학급에서 규율 문제는 없었다.
