A second lieutenant of an American Air Force base was acting as a guide for visiting student group from China.

The tour began and ended outside the main gate in front of a huge sign that read : "Peace Is Our Profession."

After showing the group all the points of interest, the lieutenant asked, "Do you have any question?"

"Yes," said a student, pointing to the billboard.

"If there''s a war, do you take the sign down?"

미 공군기지의 중위 한 사람이 중국에서 온 학생시찰단 안내역을 맡았다.

시찰은 정문에서 시작되었다가 정문에서 끝났는데 그 정문에는 "평화는 우리의 업"이라는 큼직한 표어가 나붙어 있었다.

볼만한 곳을 죄다 보여주고나서 안내장교는 "뭐 질문있습니까?"

"네, 전쟁이 터지면 저 표어는 치울건가요?"
