Hot cross buns are a traditional yeast bread representing the Easter season, known for their sweet flavor and rich spices. The sweet dough, made with dried fruits and spices, is marked with a cross shape, earning the nickname 'cross bread'. The 'Hot Cross Buns' at Andaz Seoul Gangnam are made with a dough blended with orange peel, raisins, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder, which is slow-fermented for a day before being baked, resulting in a flavor-packed combination.
