After his divorce the man turned to a computer dating service, which provided him with names and phone numbers of women whose profiles seemed a good match for him. Nervously, he picked up the phone and called the first woman on the list. The woman was quite pleasant, so he mustered the courage to ask her out. “I’m sorry,” she replied, “but I just can’t do that.” Stunned, he asked, “Do you mind my asking why not?” “Because I’m your wife’s divorce attorney.”
