A mother saw her three-year-old son put a nickel in his mouth and
swallow it.

She immediately picked him up, turned him upside down and hit him
on the back, whereupon he coughed up two dimes.

Frantic, she called to the father outside.

"Your son just swallowed a nickel and coughed up two dimes!

What should I do?"

"Keep feeding him nickels!" yelled back the father.

어머니는 세살배기 아들이 동전 한닢을 입에 넣더니 꿀꺽 삼키는 것을
봤다.

얼른 녀석을 집어들고 거꾸로 해서 등을 때리자 은전 두닢을 토해냈다.

어머니는 정신없이 밖에 있는 남편에게 소리쳤다.

"얘가 방금 동전 하나를 삼키더니 은화 두개를 토해냈어요.

이걸 어떡하죠?"

"계속 동전을 먹여요!"라고 애 아버지는 소리쳤다.
