The new employee stood before the paper shredder looking confused．
“Need some help？” a secretary， walking by， asked．
“Yes，” he replied， “how does this thing work？”
“Simple，” she said， taking the fat report from his hand and feeding it into the shredder．
“Thanks， but where do the copies come out？”

서류절단기 앞에 선 신입사원은 어리둥절해서 그것을 들여다 보고 있었다．
지니기던 여비서가 “어디 도와드릴까요？”하고 물었다．
“그래요． 이 기계 어떻게 작동하는 거죠？”
“간단해요”라고 말한 여자는 그가 들고 있는 두툼한 보고서를 넘겨받아 그 기계 속으로 밀어 넣었다．
“고마워요． 한데 복사된 건 어디로 나오는 건가요？”
