[비즈니스 유머] 꽃을 사는 남자

On the way home one night， the man spotted some fresh－cut roses outside a florist's shop. After selecting a dozen and entering the shop， he was greeted by a young saleswoman.

"Are these for your wife， sir？" she asked.

"Yes，" the man said.

"For her birthday？" she asked.

"No，" he replied.

"For your anniversary？"

"No，" he said again.

As he pocketed his change and headed toward the door， the young woman called， "I hope she forgives you."

한 남자가 퇴근길에 보니 꽃가게 앞에 막 꺾어온 장미꽃들이 있었다. 열두 송이를 골라 가지고 안으로 들어가니 젊은 여점원이 그를 맞아줬다.


"손님， 이 거 부인께 드릴 건가요？"하고 여자는 물었다.

"그렇습니다. "

"오늘이 생일인가요？"

"아뇨."

"결혼기념일인가요？"

"아뇨."

이렇게 대답한 남자가 거스름돈을 받아 챙기고 가게에서 나오려는 데 젊은 여자는 한 마디 했다. "부인께서 용서해주실 겁니다. "
