George applied to a finance agency for a job， but he had no experience. He was so intense that the manager gave him a tough account with the promise that if he collected it， he'd get the job.

Two hours later George came back with the entire amount.

"Amazing!" the manager said."How did you do it?"

"Easy，" George replied. "I bluffed him if he didn't pay up,I'd tell all his other creditors he paid us."


조지는 금융을 대행하는 업체에 취직하려고 했는데 그건 그가 해 본 경험이 없는 일이었다. 그가 어찌나 악착스러운지 그를 면접한 매니저는 수금이 안 되는 힘든 거래선을 지정해주면서 거기 가서 수금해오면 채용하겠다고 했다.

두 시간 후 조지는 수금할 돈을 전액 받아가지고 돌아왔다.

"참 놀랍군！ 어떻게 해서 받아냈어요?" 매니저가 물었다.

"어려울 것 없었어요. 한 푼도 빼지 않고 몽땅 갚지 않는 날엔 다른 채권자들을 일일이 찾아가서 우리는 당신네들로부터 전액을 받아냈다고 귀띔해줄 거라고 공갈을 쳤죠 뭐."
