One day, after leading a funeral procession through several miles of city traffic, the funeral director realized that he had arrived at the wrong cemetery.

With as much dignity as possible, he managed to reload the casket into the hearse, get everyone back into the cars, and drove to the right cemetery.

As the graveside service concluded, he was still trying to think of some way to apologize to the family for his mistake, when a sister of the deceased approaced him, smiling.

"Rosemary would have loved this," she said.

"she was always getting lost."

어느 날 장례행렬을 이끌고 도심을 몇 마일 지나간 장의사 사람은 엉뚱한 묘지에 온 사실을 깨닫게 되었다.

그는 되도록 의젓하게 관을 다시 영구차에 싣고 다들 차에 다시 오르게 한 다음 가야 할 묘지로 갔다.

묘지에서의 의식이 끝났을 때 장의사 사람은 무슨 말로 자기가 저질은 잘못에 대해 유족들에게 사과할 것인가를 계속 궁리하고 있었다.

그런데 그때 고인의 여동생이 그에게로 다가와서 웃으면서 말하는 것이었다.

"로즈메리가 좋아했을 거예요. 언니는 노상 길을 잃었으니까요"
