The visiting preacher''s sermon was too long-winded and the entire audience looked bored.

Then he began to tell about a Biblical character who had a thousand wives and concubines.

"And this man fed them ambrosia."

"Never mind what he fed them," piped up a man in the congregation.

"What did he eat?"

초빙 목사의 설교는 마냥 계속돼 듣고 있는 사람들이 하나같이 따분해하는 것 같았다.

그러다가 목사는 1천명에 달하는 아내와 첩들을 거느렸던 성경 속의 인물에 관해 이야기하기 시작했다.

"그런데 이 사람은 그 여자들에게 신의 음식을 먹였습니다"

"여자들에게 뭣을 먹었는지는 이야기하실 것 없고, 그 자신은 무엇을 먹었는지 이야기해 주세요"라고 한 남자가 큰소리로 말했다.
