A woman was complaining to the neighbor that her husband always came home late no matter how hard she tried to stop him.

"Take my advise," said the neighbor, "and do what I did. Once my husband come home at 3 o''clock in the morning, and from my bed I called out, ''Is that you Jim?'' And that cured him"

"Cured him!" said the woman, "How did that cure him?"

The neighbor said, "His name is Bill."

여자는 남편이 밤마다 귀가가 늦다면서 무슨 수로도 그 버릇을 고칠 수 없다고 이웃에게 푸념했다.

"내 충고 들으시고 내가 했던대로 해보세요.하루는 세벽 세시에 돌아왔기에 내가 잠자리에서 ''짐이에요?''하고 묻지 않았겠어요. 그 한마디로 그 버릇 고쳤답니다"

"버릇 고쳤다구요. 어떻게요?"라고 그 여자는 물었다.

"남편은 이름이 빌이거든요"라고 이웃 여자는 말했다.
