[해외유머] '실직배우'

An unemployed actor came home dejected after a fruitless day of
hunting for a role.

What he found were his apartment in a shambles and his beautiful
young wife lying on the bed in hysterics.

It was obvious that her clothes had been torn from her ravished body.

"Good Lord! What happened?"

The actor cried.

"I fought and fought, but he..."

"Who did this awful thing? who?"

"He came here looking for you.

He said it was important.

Finding me alone, he..."

"Who?" the man roared.

"Your agent."

"My agent!"

He said brightening up.

"Did he say whether he''d found a part for me?"

아무런 성과없이 일거리를 찾아헤매던 실직배우가 의기소침해서 집에
돌아왔다.

그런데 그를 기다리고 있는 것은 엉망이 된 방안과 히스테리 상태에서
침대에 쓰러져 있는 젊고 예쁜 아내였다.

보아하니 옷을 찢기고 겁탈당한 것이다.

"아아니, 무슨 일이 있은거야?"

남편은 소리쳤다.

"난 악착같이 싸웠지만 그 사람은..."

아내는 흐느꼈다.

"누가 이런 끔찍한 짓 했어? 누구냐구?"

"그사람 당신을 찾더라구요.

중요한 일로 왔다면서.

내가 혼자인걸 보고는...."

"누구였는데?"

남편은 소리를 질렀다.

"당신 대리인요"

"대리인이라고! 그래 내가 맡을 역이 있댔어?"

그는 표정이 밝아지면서 물었다.
