[해외유머] '뒷간 행차'

A small but venerable college has invited a number of scholars
from all over the nation to attend its centennial celebration.

The academic procession was to march to the chapel, headed by the
president of the college.

As the procession came to the chapel entrance the president realized
he would be sitting on the platform for close to three hours.

So he turned to the two men back of him to excuse himself out
of the procession.

But the two men misunderstood him and followed him, and the whole
academic procession followed them-all headed for the men''s room

작지만 명망있는 어느 대학이 창립 1백주년을 맞아 전국에 걸쳐 많은
학자들을 축하행사에 초청했다.

이들 학자는 이 대학의 학장을 선두로 열을 지어 대학예배당으로 향하게
되었다.

행렬이 예배당어귀에 이르렀을 무렵, 문득 학장의 머리에 떠오른 것은
앞으로 세시간 가까이 연단에 앉아있어야 한다는 사실이었다.

그래서 뒤따라오는 두사람에게 양해를 구하고 행렬에서 빠졌다.

그런데 그 두사람은 학장의 뜻을 알아차리지 못하고 그를 뒤따라갔고
이때문에 온 행렬이 남자 화장실로 향하게 된 것이다.
