[해외유머] '백만장자라면'

The class had been assigned the writing of a composition on
"What I would do if I had a million dollars."

All the boys ans girls set busily to work-all except one, who sat
at his desk doing nothing.

"Don''t you know how to answer the question?" the teacher asked the
apparently indolent one.

"Yes, teacher," was the reply.

"This is what I would do if I had a million dollars-nothing".

"내가 백만장자가 된다면 무엇을 할 것인가"라는 제목을 가지고 글짓기를
하는 과제가 아이들에게 주어졌다.

학급아이들은 모두 열심히 작문을 했다.

그런데 유혹 한 아이만은 아무 것도 하지 않고 가만히 앉아 있었다.

선생님은 태만해 보이는 그 학생을 모고 "그 물음에 대한 해답을
모르겠어?"하고 물었다.

"아닙니다 선생님. 백만장자라면 이렇게 꼼짝 않고 있겠다는 겁니다"라고
그는 대답했다.
