[해외유머] '일흔다섯살'

"Grandpa, exactly how old are you?" asked the schoolboy who was
reading the newspaper.

"I''m seventy-five-year-old," replied the old man.

"Why do you ask that?"

"It says here that there are twenty percent more women at age
seventy-five than men," the boy said.

"At age seventy-five," sighed Grandpa, "who cares?"

<> Who cares? : 누가 상관하랴? (아무도 상관하지 않는다는 뜻)

"할아버지, 지금 연세가 정확하게 몇이세요?"하고 신문을 보고 있던
손자가 물었다.

"일흔다섯이다. 그런데 그건 왜 묻냐?"

"여기 보니까 일흔다섯살된 노인들중에는 여자가 남자보다 20퍼센트나
더 많다는데요"하고 손자녀석이 말했다.

"나이가 일흔다섯이나 되면 말이다 그런것 다 아무 상관없는 일이란다"

할아버지는 한숨 지으면서 말했다.
