[해외유머] '내조'

When the mayor of a big American city, accompanied by his wife
Nancy, was inspecting a construction project one day, a hard-hatted
laborer called out to them.

"Nancy, remember me?" he said.

"We used to date in high school."

The mayor teased her.

"Aren''t you glad you married me? You could have been the wife of a
construction worker instead of the sif e of the mayor."

Responded Nancy : "You should be glad you married me.

If you hadn''t, he would have been the mayor of this city."

미국 큰 도시의 사장이 부인 낸시와 함께 어느날 공사장 한군데를
시찰했는데 헬멧을 쓴 노동자 한사람이 그들을 보고 외쳤다.

"낸시, 나요 나. 우리 고등학교때 데이트 했잖아요"

그러자 시장은 부인을 놀려댔다.

"당신 나하고 결혼했으니 복도 많지 뭐요. 시장이 아니라 공사판 일꾼의
아내가 될 뻔했잖우"

"당신이야말로 복받은 줄 알아야요. 당신이 나하고 결혼하지 않았더라면
저 사람이 시장이 됐을거라구요"
