One night a policeman saw a man looking for something by a lightpole.He asked the man if he had lost something there.The man who was a macroeconomist said,"I lost my keys in the alley."The policeman asked him why he was looking by the lightpole.The economist responded,"it's easier to look over here."

macroeconomist:거시경제학자(경제구조의 큰 부문을 연구하는 경제학자)
alley:뒷골목,골목길

어느날 밤 경찰관의 주위를 끈 것은 가로등 밑에서 뭔가를 찾고있는 사람이었다.

뭔가를 분실한 거냐고 그는 그 사람에게 물었다.

거시경제학자인 그 사람은 "골목길에서 열쇠를 잃어버렸어요"라고 대답했다.

하면 어째서 가로등 밑에서 찾고있는 거냐고 경관은 물었다.

"여기가 잘 보이니까요"라고 경제학자는 대답했다.
